Santiago Burelli (b. 1993 Caracas, Venezuela) is an artist whose practice spans various mediums including documentary filmmaking, sound installation, sculpture, and even fringes on popular music genres of techno, electronica, and film score.

Regardless of the vehicle, Burelli approaches each project from nuanced political and sociological angles that explore our relationship with materials, space, and sound. By experimenting with industrial construction materials such as concrete, lighting, steel, and electronics, Burelli brings to light our convoluted relationship with industry, extractivism, production, and consumerism.

Within his short career, Burelli has exhibited as part of Transmediale Festival in Berlin, produced films for NGOs including SOSOrinoco, and collaborated with globally acclaimed artists including Julius von Bismarck and Julian Charrière.
